Usman isn't a personal trainer who added boxing to his Instagram. He's a former competitive boxer with a 16–4–1 amateur record, a two-time Illinois State Champion, and a Chicago Golden Gloves champion — who also holds a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

That combination — actual fight experience plus the science of muscle mechanics — is what you won't find anywhere else. He doesn't just show you how to move. He explains why that movement works, from the biomechanics up. Coaches with that understanding are rare. Coaches who can also get in the ring with you are rarer still.

He's been coaching for 15 years and in the fitness world for 22. His clients don't just lose weight — they become more capable versions of themselves. Several run marathons now. Some compete.

Before You Apply

Do I need a gym or equipment to start? +

No. The program adapts to what you have. Zero equipment or a fully equipped gym — Coach Usman builds your training template around your situation. You'll need space to move. Boxing gloves are useful but not required for the first phase.

What fitness level do I need to start? +

Any level — including none. The program is designed to meet you where you are. Complete beginners have gone through this program and hit milestones they'd never achieved before. The key is commitment to the process, not a starting fitness level.

How many sessions a week does this require? +

3 to 6 sessions per week, depending on your schedule and fitness level. The minimum to see real results is 3 sessions a week — that's non-negotiable. If you can give more, the program scales. And if life derails you mid-program, you communicate with Coach Usman and the plan adjusts. Missing a week doesn't restart the clock.

Will I actually learn how to fight, or is this just cardio boxing? +

Actual boxing. Stance, footwork, jab, cross, hook — built from correct fundamentals. By week 12 you'll have enough technique to work the bag properly, hit mitts, and handle yourself in a basic confrontation. Coach Usman was a competitive boxer, not a cardio instructor. The difference shows.

What does the nutrition plan look like? +

It's custom-built around your body weight and goals. Coach Usman gives you the framework, teaches you how to think about macros, and makes sure you understand why you're eating what you eat. Clients who follow it report developing a healthy relationship with food — not anxiety about it. The goal is to make you independent, not dependent on a tracking app forever.

Is this only for men aged 25–45? +

That's the primary target — men at the age where the pain points hit hardest and the desire to reclaim capability is highest. But the program is open to anyone with the right commitment. Coach Usman has coached teenagers and clients past 50. Age is a data point, not a barrier. Commitment is what decides it.

What happens after the 12 weeks? +

You keep everything — the nutrition understanding, the training framework, the boxing fundamentals, the habit. That's the point. The goal isn't dependency on Coach Usman, it's giving you the knowledge to operate independently. Most clients continue training on their own. Some keep working with Usman on extended programs.
